Why can't we all focus on living life accepting each other?
100
wonder if we would enjoy life more trying to be kind and eager to learn others point of views instead of trying to kill off what we think is wrong.

I agree with you on this, but there are some things that are stupid and dangerous, and should be "killed off". Learning others' points of view is no guarantee that anyone will be a decent human being. In fact, with most of the ones I meet on a daily basis, knowing my POV means that they now have an insight into how to better push my buttons and screw with me. I'm not knocking the idea, mind you...it's just that there are not a lot of good people left in this world, and I see this every single day of my life. Jaded, I believe is the word.

i think we COULD be happier trying to do that but it is against human nature to accept things different from our way of thinking. whole empires have risen and fallen under this principle.

Sometimes ignoring things we think are wrong only encourages such things. I guess you may need to quantify your statement. If you don't think people should drink in their own homes, well, their drinking doesn't have a lasting affect on you or society, so yeah, I can see your point of live and let live. If you're referring to Michael Vick and dog-fighting, then that's a more serious action and someone does need to step foward and stop what society has deemed as being wrong.
