Uninsured mortorist policy should not be required...
This has been something that I've always been a bit troubled by. If you are in a vehicle accident (that is not your fault) and the other person doesn't have insurance ... you are forced to cover the damage. That can usually be done one of two ways: through an uninsured motorist policy or by claiming it on your normal collision policy. If you do not opt for a uninsured motorist policy (which doe... |

Just because your offended doesn't mean it should be illegal
A lady commented on another of my revolutions and it reminded me of something I've been pissed about for a while. Now before I go on I would like to say again that this is American Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Here lately it seems more like land of the offended and home of the cowardly. I would like to point out that the bill of rights says nothing about having the right to not be off... |

City of Lufkin and its Spending Revisited
I realize there is a post already about the cities spending, but I thought it necessary to enlighten the citizen as to what they are about to start billing. At this point in time City Council has already aprove the plans and spending for a new maintenance shop for for the fleet maintenance department. That in itself is not the problem, they could use a new shop. The problem lies in the size of ... |

Kids and medicine, when it is not a good mix
SO while I was driving home today I was talking to my car pool friend and we started talking about kids and medicine. Now she had some hilarious stories about how her daughter refuses to take medicine, you can plug her nose and hold her mouth shut... no good, sneak it in a drink...no good... any thing you can think of she has tried. We got to thinking if they can make vitamins look like fun charac... |

Wal-Mart’s Crappy Inventory Management System
Today I decided that I was going to Wal-Mart to buy a new video game and a coupe of controllers for my new game console. I get there and look high and low for a particular game without any luck. So I go to ask a sales person for help in finding the elusive game. After waiting in line for about 7 minutes I now have the sales person’s attention. Keep in mind at this point I am the only customer in s... |

What is with the nation wide no smoking band
Im no longer a smoker, but the last time I checked this was a free country. I can understand having a smoking section(even if it is outside). But some whiny ass New Yorker decided that they would use proven doctored documents to send the nation into a none smoking frenzy. Now most of the places I would go to eat and hang out with friends no longer allow smoking. Thanks to the governments new no... |

Seatbelt vs. Helmet
How is it that motorcyclists get to choose whether or not to wear a helmet and yet, I, driving a vehicle that is enclosed around me, still must wear a seatbelt because it is the law? I understand they have to pay higher insurance rates and must meet certain "criteria" for it to be legal for them "not" to wear a helmet.... by how come I don't have the same choice to not wear a seat belt? (I would w... |

Movie theatre snack price gouging!!
Ok, so when did Movie theatres decide that it was ok to price gouge snacks!! I mean, come on!! when my large popcorn is 2 times the price of a gallon of gas and the large drinks are just about the same as a gallon of gas. Not only that but the only way to make the prices worth while is to get the large and hope you don't fill up before you need a refill!! That's the reason so many people try to... |
